Hi! What a pleasure it is for me to discover this site. So many years have gone by and yet, looking at all these pictures, everything seems like yesterday. I lived at 4867 St-Jacques, next to First and Last tavern, all my life until the gov.bought us out for the Ville Marie highway...The places I used to go to the most where the Capozzi's house...White Owl...Orsini hall...I was part of the Italian parade each year(that's the only time I was called an angel I think ;-)and thanks to this childhood, I still have some of that beautiful Italian culture imbedded in me. Grazie mille di cuore for maintaining this site *-*

This website is amazing. For two years I have been "walking Turcot Yards" - actually that s the name of my blog, http://neath.wordpress.com. There has not been a lot of material for me to work with, just bits here and there, as far as the history of Turcot Yards go. Of course in that journey I discovered your old neighborhood and there are still some pretty fine people living there! I would really be interested in hearing any stories and about the rail years at Turcot, especially anything about the roundhouse. I am going to post about this site on the blog. I hope you don't mind. Thanks, again, for this wonderful site!
