Peter, congratulations on a superb website! It is a
treasure! You have touched so many people with
incredible memories of an era they all shared, and
their children are very grateful to see and read about
their parents growing up in St. Henri.
I am always fascinated and amazed with the stories
that you and others recount about growing up in St.
Henri.
Again many thanks for your diligence, time, and effort
in constructing this website.
Regards, George Mastromonaco

Excellent web page. I am the son of Vincent Pedicelli & Suzanne Mancini. They speak so fondly of their years growing up in St-Henri. I will be anxious to sit with them and go through this web site with them. I am sure it will bring many wonderful memories to mind and will provide many laughs and smiles. Thank you for giving us this history and all these memories.

Congratulations on an outstanding website. It bring back a flood of warm memories. I lived on St. Jacques behind Vincelli's grocery store facing Desnoyers with my grandparents , the Defrancesco's, and attended St. Thomas Aquinas through to the fifth grade from 1945 to 1950. I remember fondly running to Vincelli's every noon to fetch Mr. Constanza's lunch! My best friends were John Raimondo, Sabatino "Sab" Mastro and Joe Angelini-we were inseparable.

Congratulations to the Webmaster who has done such a wonderful job capturing the history of many happy years in the Glen area! I lived on Cazelais (1946-1982)above Febi's Grocery Store and attended St.Thomas Aquinas Girls School (1951-57). Browsing through the various links and reliving the past through the photos was a great trip down Memory Lane. We really did live in the best of times during the '50s and we made friendships and memories that are still with us today. Although the area has changed, our history remains - our parents did a wonderful job instilling important values in us that make us who we are today. The Parish of St.Thomas Aquinas still boasts for holding the record for the most vocations that came out of "the little parish with the big heart". Father Penny, Father Carroll and Father O'Kane as well as the Sisters of St.Anne taught us well! Congratulations and Thank You to the "powers that be" who are responsible for this wonderful website.

I am Conny's son. I remember my dad speaking often of you and I am sure I saw you at the various events you guys organised. I used to go with my dad to the bowling on Wilson and Sherbrooke and was often in the parade for the Italian feast.
