Écoles
The local French school for boys was College Charlevoix. For the girls it was Saint Elizabeth. The teachers were brothers and nuns. Lise Lefebvre who lived on St-Jacques street supplied the photos which appear in her Souvenir book of the hisrory of the parish. The book entitled “Souvenirs de la paroisse St-Elizabeth du Portugal” brings back many memories of our area.
