Local Politics
Politics naturally plays a role in all the parishes and ours was no exception. As the photos will show, the politicians always attended and supported our events. Some of the popular politicians were, J.H. Delisle, Camilien Houde, Bruno Lepine, Pit Lessard, Camille Martellani, Marcel Lafaille, and a rising young politition named Yvon Lamarre. We must not forget Columbo Teodori who was also very active in politics. Columbo who lived on Walnut street was quite an orator.
